Dr. Rippner has practiced optometry for over 25 years. His practice includes Primary Care Optometry, Comprehensive Eye Examinations, Low Vision Consultation, and co-management of surgical and complex medical eye conditions.
He has completed training in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of ocular disease, including glaucoma, and passed a national competency examination earning an expanded license.
He has also earned the privilege to be among the select group of optometrists belonging to the prestigious American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Rippner was honored as one of the Champions in Health of 2005 by the SLO Medical Society for his volunteer eye work in developing nations including those in South America, Central America, Mexico, Africa, and the South Pacific.
